Alongside Sortedam Lake (Copenhagen) 12 X 16 oil on canva-paper created for the Virtual Paintout (http://virtualpaintout.blogspot.com/) Challenge, Island of Zealand, Denmark, where I found this scene alongside Sortedam Lake near the city centre of Copenhagen. I was impressed at how crowded the place was with people walking, running, riding on their bikes or simply reading and enjoying the outdoors [...] 
This month’s Virtual Paintout (http://virtualpaintout.blogspot.com) was in Tasmania. Near a town called Wynyard, I chose a view of Table Cape, the rocky headland in the distance, which is apparently famous for its lighthouse and tulip farms. [...] 
I thought I would show where I’m at with my submission to this month’s Virtual Paintout Challenge. So far I have set the colours in a thin layer of paint. The trees took the longest. For some reason the thin wash of Cerulean blue sky doesn’t show very well on the photo [...] |
