I worked on the depanneur sign today where I thought of adding some touches of orange to it, but I didn’t, afraid that the use of this complementary colour might come-off too bold. At this point I can tell the painting is almost done. There are still a few things that I want to work on. I notice that my brush strokes are getting bolder, loaded with thick paint over time. I have been busy with quite a few things lately and I feel that my paintings are not developing as fast as I wish they would. I’m soon going to run-out of Ultramarine Blue, which is something I have made a priority in my list of to-buy art supplies. I ran into a few problems with this depanneur painting.
